Harry has over 35 years of financial and operational management experience with middle market companies. He also works with businesses that may be going through a transition including loss of key management personnel or preparation for a sale or transfer of ownership.
Additionally, Harry works with financially-distressed businesses both inside and outside Chapter 11 proceedings or other Court-supervised processes. He has extensive experience in industries such as real estate, construction, media/publishing, leasing, healthcare, wholesale/distribution, retail, insurance, apparel and manufacturing (consumer goods and food products), among others.
Utilizing his broad experience and high-level skills, he provides short to medium-term management by acting in various roles such as Chief Restructuring Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Financial Advisor, Trustee, Independent Director, and other key positions.
Prior to forming HBM in 2012, Harry spent nine years with two boutique turnaround firms. Earlier in his career he held management positions for two major real estate developers and a Big Four accounting firm.
Harry earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and a member of the Turnaround Management Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, the Secured Finance Network (formerly the Commercial Finance Association) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

MARC B. ROSS
Managing Director
Marc specializes in assuming hands-on management roles or providing consulting assistance to troubled or under-performing companies both inside and outside of Court-mandated processes. He also provides services to non-distressed clients to assist them in maximizing recurring cash flows, enterprise value and navigating through a sale or transfer of ownership.
Marc has provided clients with interim management services including roles as a CRO and interim CEO, CFO and COO, operational and financial consulting, advising Debtors and Creditors’ committees, providing litigation consulting and performing forensic investigations.
He has over 25 years of experience as an advisor, bankruptcy and turnaround specialist, crisis manager, forensic accountant and auditor. Additionally, Marc has worked with clients in a broad range of industries including manufacturing and distribution, foodservice and food processing, temporary and permanent placement services, service providers, retail, commercial lending, construction, telecommunications, hospitality, public utilities and other regulated entities and not for profit companies.
Prior to joining HBM, Marc worked at boutique consulting firms providing turnaround and crisis management services. Earlier in his career he worked for public accounting firms including a Big Four firm.
Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University and is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). He won, along with a team of professionals, the Turnaround Management Association’s Turnaround of the Year Award for work on Agriprocessors, Inc. Marc is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Secured Finance Network (formerly the Commercial Finance Association), the Turnaround Management Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
